Dia poles from the side or 1.5 in. poles through the top. for added stability, you can tighten the twist knob lock on the side of the tripod to hold your prism pole in place. with replaceable spurred feet, this surveying tripod securely digs into the ground, even on slippery and uneven surfaces. in addition, the tripod’s legs extend up to 6 ft. and collapse up to 3.5 ft. Once the legs are adjusted to a desired height, construction professionals can secure its position with the clamp locks.
